Project 42 Preparation

April is a very big month in the Freeman Household because it is another start of Project 42!

If you have been following us for a while, you know that Project 42 is something that has changed our lives and the lives of thousands of our clients.

We take the next 42 days to transform the body, mind, and spirit of everyone who commits to living the best life that they can.

As we begin this journey the one thing that I would like to remind you that you are POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE, you are CAPABLE and Strong.

When you connect your body, mind, and spirit, you are living at your best, and living the life of your dreams. We believe wholeheartedly that it is the powerful integration of the three that helps you create the life and the reality that you want.

We want to start off by talking about being prepared. Everyone knows the say “fail to prepare and prepare to fail” and it is true! Not because we live in an action-oriented world, but because we are creating our own reality!

When you want something, you have to act “as if” you are already living that life! If your body does not look how you want it, you do not talk badly to it or about it or hide in shame. Take the inspired action necessary while acting as if you are already where you want to be. Anything you can visualize can be your reality!  Get a photo of what you want to look like, maybe it is you a few years ago, maybe its a celebrity or maybe a bikini model 🙂 whatever motivates you.  Start working on your visualization skill set.  YES, it is a learned skill.  you can achieve what you can see because it is easy for your mind to believe it is possible, it exists and you can be it!

Over the years I can not tell you the number of clients that are so very concerned about what they will look like working out, or that they will be judged by the beautiful specimens that are just hanging out all day in spandex.  I can promise you that is not my gym!!  This is a place where we support, encourage and cheer for each other.

Let me help alleviate some of that anxiety, when we are not our happiest or best self, it is very easy to not want to dress for success, or to let that stop you from doing what you need to do to change.

We may be feeling insecure or lacking self confidence. The first thing you need to do is address this and say, “what am I feeling here?” “how can I change this?”  Let’s remember, you can still love yourself and be strong while wanting to be the best version of your self you can possibly be.

When you think about what you look like, it is most often always a reflection of what we feel like, and at Freeman Formula we want you looking and feeling your best. With over 20 years of experience, I know that the better my clients feel in their clothing, the stronger they are during their session, and the better they are when leave while affecting the lives of everyone they come into contact with.

Let’s start with the easy UPGRADES that will help you on this journey. New Sneakers are key! I want to make sure you have the most comfort, best balance, and most support going into intense workouts. Using the wrong shoe could negatively impact your performance.

Yoga style workout pants are best as well as Spanx underneath or a tank top. We want to make sure that as we are jumping up and down, running, and using different pieces of equipment, that we are not worried about shirts riding up or pants falling down, or anything else that could hinder success. Spanx also work great because they help keep together any body parts you don’t necessarily love to put on display, so seeing yourself with a more flattering appearance in the Spanx can also help you visualize!

A towel is necessary and one of the more commonly forgotten pieces to bring to the gym, but you want to make sure that again, you are as comfortable as possible, and you want to make sure that you can take care of your sweat as you go!

Make sure you bring plenty of water! There is a reason you do not see Gatorade or Powerade on the sidelines anymore! We do not need to add electrolytes into our body when we are exercising-water is perfect enough! Our favorite is alkaline! Bring a gallon of water and make sure to stay hydrated!

Find a gym bag that you love and are proud to carry, get some great fitting gym clothes that really make you feel your best, and make sure that you are prepared the night before! Making sure that you set your intentions for the next day is always the best way to prepare your future!
